All the new planes seem not to have personal air vents. Flew a new 777-300 for 14 hours and new A340-500 for 18 hours and neither had personal air vents. Both flights got rather warm.

In 1933 Boeing introduced the 247 with personal air vents. Now they are producing these pre-1933 ventilation systems on their 777 & 767.

DL 777s have the vents as do almost all the 767-300s. There is a small sub-fleet of ex-Gulf Air 767s that do not have overhead vents.
