When I flew back from DEL I got a porter at the taxi rank and after he asked what airline & class he proceeded to jump the X-ray line shouting First class passengers make way! (embarrasing but extremely effective!!). Something that I haven't seen anywhere else: after check in we were escorted by BA staff to passport control and security (they waited on us to clear security) and then even walked us to the lounge. After feeling so spoiled by the personal escort the lounge is a real let down.

Not sure if I looked like I was going to get lost or if this is standard practice.

Also at arrival make sure to have your camera handy. After exiting the baggage area there were 900 guys with name cards 4 lines deep behind a rail. What an amazing scene, I've never seen anything like it (also spotted our first cow in DEL parking lot).
