The flight that takes you over the FTL limit doesn't get FTL bonus. Its only after you are FTL that you get the bonus. I feel your pain. The flight that made me FTL in oct 2000 was a 15h LAX-HKG and I went bonkers when I realised that I would get my 25% extra only from then on. Thoses were the days of 25% extra on any *A.... sniff (a minute of silence for the events of Aug 31)
