I haven't ever been sick on a plane, but I sat next to a man who vomited for pretty much an entire two-hour (rough) flight many years ago. The seat belt sign was lit the entire time, so he was reduced, like *many* others on the flight, to using sickness bags at his seat. I'm a nurse so it didn't bother me but he was very obviously horrified -- at least during the few moments of the flight when being horrified rather than being sick was even an option for him. I just gave him the 'illusion of privacy' by avoiding eye contact and enjoying the cloud formations out my window. I felt bad for him. I hope it never happens to me. Lucikly (?) I always have quart bags on me now....
