Post Theater Special Dinner Advise
I am trying to help a friend plan a very special anniversary dinner for the weekend after next. The challenge is timing - they are attending the Elton John show at the Colosseum which begins at 730pm, and I believe ends around 930p or so - which makes it very hard to have an un-rushed dinner before the show and leaves very limited time to get to a high-end restaurant afterwards, as most close at 1030pm.
Originally, I planned to book them at one of the Joel Robechon options, but I just don't see how they would have time without being rushed.
Here are the parameters:
cuisine: prefer french or american
ambiance: romantic - they prefer a private dining room or the ability to enjoy a great deal of privacy
service: must be top notch
food: must be top notch
price: willing to spend up-to 200 per person for the food
location: hotel, or non-hotel.
...but the restaurant must be open late enough to serve a full meal (appetizer, entree, dessert, etc.) completely unrushed, assuming they might not arrive until 10pm
Any suggestions?
