Another option if you want SkyTeam miles is to go BOS-???-ICN-KIX on KE. This might sound circuitous, but it's actually easier than connecting at NRT.
KE codeshares with DL so you can fly DL from BOS to JFK or ATL. If you really want to add up the segments, you can fly CO to EWR and then on to ATL or IAD. Lots of segments/miles possibilities if KE is in your future.
