I did notice that AA is running MIA-ANC as a 1-stop through DFW from May 2 through June 13. Since it's a 1-stop, it should count as a single 4004-mile segment on the itinerary.
Just trying to work out a routing for my first xONE4 in June, and looking at the routing discussions with newfound interest!
What defines a single segment versus two separate segments? Does it need the same flight number for both legs, or is it the start and finish points in the booking, regardless of how the airline gets you there? Thanks,
