One of the funnier things about Japanese vending machine culture is not necessarily the "banks" of them in major cities, but instead being in the middle of no where and seeing on the side of the road with nothing but a bench and trash can next to it. When I mean the middle of no where, I mean look around and all you see are paddies and maybe a house or two in the distance.
