Yeah, if UA and AA don't serve the airport, DL DOES have more award availability.
And thanks to the person who pointed out UA's chart. That rings a bell -- I rarely see it because UA usually DOES have something on the dates you select.
Someone said this thread provides a good place to vent. I guess that's true, but the real value of these threads is to highlight the problem IN HOPES THAT IT WILL CHANGE. The airlines that have ridiculously low award availability (and Delta appears to be the lowest) are not going to change their programs to be good samaritans. They will do so when the negative publicity they receive will become so overwhelming that they will lose customers -- well, they'll lose the opportunity to sell credit card miles first -- because few people will want their "funny money" award promises.
Sweeping this under the rug is exactly what the airlines want -- they obviously DON'T want you to know the real odds of snagging a saver award seat.
