You know when I look online at that flight, I see it's a 1-stop from CMH-->DTW-->IAD. My thoughts are even though it's a 1-stop, it had been planned to switch planes in DTW. The plane in DTW had maintenance problems and the flight was to be cancelled, but the plane in CMH was fine. Somehow the system got word that the flight was going to be cancelled, but the automated system made it for both segments, not just the DTW-->IAD portion. Then they realized the error and fixed it for you guys in CMH. Just a thought because if you look online you will see that the DTW-->IAD portion was indeed cancelled today.
If it weren't a fluke like that, I would be a tad bit leary of getting on a plane that had been deemed unsafe and now without repair was then deemed OK.
