Feel free to yawn and post thread links, but I am coming to the same conclusion as the OP. We rely primarily on the Delta AMX card as the main source of points. We have stuck with the card because of the numerous opportunities for double and even triple points. However, as everyone knows, it's been a few months since we've seen a double-point special. At the same time, I have found it nearly impossible to obtain business class seats 331 days out to either Africa (when SAA was a partner) or to Asia because the minute partners were involved in the routing, no J seats were available.
