Another option would be the EurAirPass--essentially a bunch of the low-fare airlines (easyjet and AB airlines among them, I also remember some AerLingus routes) have ganged together and for $90/segment you can fly them. They just changed their name (the website was eurairpass.com) but it seemed like a good way to get to some out-of-the way areas.
