Even the AC pilot line had over 25 of them lined up; never seen that before. Once at the counter, the Customs guy moaned and complained about how all Canadians hate them, to which I agreed and told him I would be applying for Nexus to avoid all this again. Guess he didn't like that and sent to me to Secondary to penalize me for my comments....I've only ever had bad experiences flying from the US into T1...I can't imagine this place in 5 years. I'm close to switching to AA that flies into a fairly quiet T3...AC can keep T1!
Its not just AC flying out of T1 these days. There are also all of the sun charters, so if you end up coming through in the late afternoon, early evening crunch times, you will be waiting....unless of course you have CanPass! Its been awhile since I've been through T3 but the last couple of times, I ran into the hordes coming off of some long haul Asian flights and I could easily have spent and hour if it wern't for CanPass.

As for any dialogue with the Customs guys, you almost always put yourself in a no win situation. Yes No and Go!! anymore and the latex comes out!
