I recently moved to China from the east coast and had a question about mileage accrual. I am platinum and currently have +/- 500K in my CO account. My travel schedule is heavy as I travel back to the US each month. I typically fly KE in business and have already re-qualified for CO platinum status next year. Having reached this milestone, I wanted to know if continuing to accrue to CO was my best option. I am going to be in the region for at least the next several years and my goal is to use my miles for trans-pacific upgrades for leisure travel. I looked into the KE program but it seems difficult to accrue miles with no elite bonus. Am I better off shifting to DL, KE, or NW or should I just stick to CO?
