I stayed at Acapulco's Las Brisas a few years back and loved it. Had the private pool casita. Great view of the bay. Loved the fresh fruit basket each morning. Service was great. It's a good little ways from "town" though.

I visited
Villa Vera a few months ago. It's up on a hill from the Condesa area, as I recall. Quite classy w/ health spa and tennis courts. They are quite proud of their history...pictures in the landscape commemorate the famous guests from decades past. I wanted to stay closer to the beach and did not want to pay the premium for luxury, so I stayed elsewhere.
