I've used iBook G3 in china for past 4 yrs, never a problem.

My powersupply says "AC 100-240V 50-60hz." My understanding is that this will handle any voltage I will encounter abroad?
Yep, works everywhere with no worries.

anybody know if there are power outlets on the China Eastern Airbus 340-600 (I will be in economy), and if so will I need to buy any sort of special adapter beforehand?
You'll be lucky to get glass of water, forget power outlets

and any recommendations for adapters to bring, if I want to
use the computer in my hotel room?
Every world traveler should get one of these:
