I flew 35k miles in the last 6 weeks of this year. I was going to hit Platinum about half way through it, so I decided to throw in a medium length MR to put me over the top for most of my mileage. (For the extra 25% bonus).

I took a 3000 mile run on Alaska Airlines. This and the first leg of my Asia trip would put me at about 78k miles. (I was 8900 miles short before the MR). In the past all air miles only took a week or 10 days to post. My Alaska Air trip was 16 days before my return.

No Alaska miles, of course. They were finally credited nearly a month after the trip was taken. By this time, I had taken a MR to London, and the return trip from Asia. About 5k of bonus miles not posted. I flew almost 100k butt in seat miles, and not a one of them Plat.

Do I have a leg to stand on to complain? If so, who do I call or write?
