The situation is changing all the time, but when I flew TG to BKK a month ago we used one of the 'airport' (ie non airline/alliance specific) lounges. It is up at roof level in Terminal 1, before you go to the satellite, and you will be given an invitation at check-in. It is small, and the low ceiling makes it feel rather cramped. Not much in the way of refreshments, other than a reasonable choice of drinks. Just bags of nuts and that sort of thing. I think I saw two tired canapes on a tray at one point. In fairness, it does seem to have a temporary feel to it, as though the airlines have asked the airport to provide at least something, while more permanent facilities are created.
I don't know what the long-term plans are, but it would be good to have a Star Alliance lounge in their satelite with both a general and First Class section.
