With all the changing rules on what the TSA allows as carryon baggage.

I have a trip Sunday from CMH to LAX and must take a small Neon Sign.

My two options are to "check it in CMH and pick it up at baggage claim in LAX (Probably broken in transit into small pieces!) or try and carry on the Neon Sign and stow it in the a/c storage closet/overhead bin.

Has anyone had any recent experiences traveling on NWA with Neon?
