Standby question (is this an eligible flight)

Hey guys,
After several years of flying, I've finally started finding uses for flying standby. I had a question about them back in December, and found the responses here very useful. Now I have another standby question, and hoping for some equally good info.

I'm a silver elite and currently booked on the following outbound flights for this Thursday (3/22)

#783 IND->MSP 7:30am->8:20am
#777 MSP->LAS 11:40am->1:08pm

I have already been upgraded to FC for the IND->MSP leg. It looks like my chances of getting FC on the MSP->LAS leg are nil.

The following set of flights don't show up on NWA.com, but do show up on kayak, orbitz, and seatcounter.

#771 IND->LAX 7:15am->8:53am
#628 LAX->LAS 10:40am->11:49am

The benefits of trying to take the 2nd set of flights are cutting down my layover time from 3 hours to 2, I arrive in Las Vegas over an hour earlier. and I'd earn more EQM,. Finally, seatcounter.com shows the LAX set of flights having 8 F seats, and 9 F seats available respectively. (Although I realize this doesn't guarantee me an upgrade.)

Would I be able to take the 2nd set of flights through LAX as a standby flight with no cost? Does it matter that they don't show up on NWA.com as a valid flight between IND->LAS? With 8 and 9 F seats showing as available 36 hours out, would this bode well for a silver getting upgraded?

For what it's worth, I'm currently booked in the M fare class.

Thanks, as always,
Duane-O
