1. I'll never have the opportunity to try KE's first class, as they don't make first class available for award travel.
2. China Airlines First Class is only available on their 747s. The configuration is 2x2, which is last-generation. Take a look at how UA, AA, BA, AF, SQ, TG, VS, etc. configure their cabins. Typically few, if any "double" seats, and suite-like seats, as opposed to the old-generation regular seats with deeper recline.
