Or maybe vice-versa?

I went to book some stays at Marriott through the Ebates portal, and it (the Marriott.com link) was nowhere to be found. I always liked the rebate on Marriott stays (although only 1%); even small amounts mount up over time.

The Starwood (Sheraton, Westin, Four Points) links are still there, and they give a 3% rebate, but Marriott seems to be missing.

What does this have to do with Marriott Rewards, you ask? I'll explain: Because Ebates is a portal, you could book through them and still get the Marriott Rewards points and stay credit.
