I applied for a passport 3 weeks ago to take a trip with my husband and inlaws to visit my sister inlaw in Japan. My sister inlaw is trying to purchase the tickets and asked us to e-mail her exactly how we wrote our names on our passports. The problem being my last name is two words (i.e. De Long) but it sometimes works better in filling things out to write it as one (DeLong). I don't remember how I wrote it on the passport!!!!! My drivers license has it as 2 words, and I remember asking the man at the counter how we should do it, but don't remember his answer! I feel really dumb. Any thoughts as to whether or not it will be a problem if the space doesn't match on the ticket and passport? If it does, any ideas as to how to fix it?
