Could you elaborate on your "guess"? Another guess would be that they could not divert planes to retrofit as they were already short of them. I remember reading somewhere that the most AF could do without disturbing their schedule too much was at most two aircrafts per month. That would mean an additional three or four months. Anyone has a clue?
