Just back from a one night stay at the St Francis. Used a few extra points to get a room in the new tower. We were on the 25th floor - great view of Union Square, the city and the bay.
Check-in took about two minnutes (one minute in line and one at the counter) - I counted 6 agents working and they were so efficient I couldn't believe it. Although there were about 4 cars coming into the garage, that was only about a 1-2 minute wait also and the attendant apologized for the delay. Only problem - it now costs $50/night.
We ate at Michael Mina, as we had tickets for Jersey Boys at the Curran Theater and wanted to be close. It was probably the best meal we've had in a restaurant in many years, if ever. Beat Masa's hands down.
My only complaint about our stay is a general one about Westin's - both my wife and I want the old Heavenly Bed back. The new model is just too stiff for us.
