I'm happy to see the post, the Delta we know does still exist! While it hapened a few years ago, Delta was most kind to me when my mother passed away, in everything they did, from transporting her body to ATL to flying myself and other family members to ATL for the funeral.In addition to the first class treatment in every way on the trip and return, I will never forget their kindnesses.Everyone was sincere and helpful.In talking to others I found out that other airlines are not anywhere as helpful at all.This is the Delta we all have known and loved ,and I hope the one that will pull out of the difficulties and restore itself to what it was.
