If you travel a lot to diverse cities, it is still an invaluable basic resource, which should be supplemented by internet searching - though a lot to lug around with you, it's easy to chop out the pages you need and keep them in your wallet when you travel.
I have my 2006 copy in my cabin luggage in the airport departure lounge at LGA at the very moment. I do check the listings against the internet to ensure the places listed are still going - just in case. It does provide a useful starting reference point.
