Mr qc is a keen fly fisherman and would like to try some on our forthcoming trip to CA. Any suggestions near the above? He also has surf fishing equipment and I assume that where there is a beach he will be able to fish. Are there areas where it is forbidden to fish or for where a permit is required? what about piers -is it OK to fish off them?
