I had looked at tripadvisor but people haven't stayed at more than one of the Sofitel properties so it's not clear how they compare. And sometimes I find that people on tripadvisor don't stay in hotels very often (like "wow, there's free soap...").

The Scribe sounds like a good location given that the Faubourg is pretty expensive.
