My husband is currently on AA728 LAX-DFW which was scheduled to arrive at 1105 with a connection to CMH on AA1726 leaving at 1150. When he booked the ticket i told him it was very close and he could miss it but he's going for a friend's bachelor party and i guess he wants as much drinking time as possible!!

However, the flight left LAX on time but is due to land in DFW 30 mins late which means he will have 15 min to change terminals D-A (he only has carry-on). Looking at his itinerary on aa.com they added flt 1610 out of DFW-CMH at 240pm- couldnt understand why at first then realised because of his late arriving inbound.

I am asking for advice for when he lands as to what to tell him to do. Does anyone know if the flight left LAX late due to a) atc or b) weather?? If not, he is entitled to 'something' if he has to take the later connection isnt he?? Can anyone advise me on what- flight voucher, meal vouchers??

Please be kind- i know there will be mutterings about this saying 'oh everyone wants something' but if he misses his connection through no fault of his own (true it was a tight connection anyway- but then AA shouldnt offer it for purchase if so) and it is neither weather or atc related- then he DOES derserve something!
