I am looking only for miles - and that still works near to perfection with Hertz.

It is crazy that their own program is not up-to-date for being entered into your profile. But, considering your (and my) good experience with Hertz in the past, I would recommend to stay with Hertz - and acquire the habit to make your membership entered when you RETURN the car.
