It does appear that if anything BA are very consistent in this respect!
Personnely, delays where a contributary factor to my changing carrier, but they were only a small part of it (after all they are often out of BA's control), a larger problem was the complete inconsistency in the way they handled them, with cabin crew/terminal staff/CS response varying from superp to pathetic, net result two of the three required strikes against them.
