Thanks for info - and BOM is only 8 hours or so...I think the company cough up for a seat for infants on relocation flights (which is what one will be), but we don't have the approved car seat so looks like bassinet all the way.

Lower deck sounds like a more considerate place to be - I did like the quiet on the UD on the occasions I managed to get a seat there. Fortunately the infant is still in a cute stage, which should help with the CC
