Look for the long brown/blonde haired girl wearing coloured jeans and a cord jacket and being trailed or trailing 2 guys, one wearing a dark brown jacket. (or look for teh dark blue alfa in the parking lot).

Hey, sorry we missed you. We did however meet up with some buddies from virtualtourist when we were in Hobart.

Taste was very fun. Smaller with fewer booths than I would have thought, given all of the great Tassie foods. So many vendors that I know from prior trips, or that I met at other places said that they just didn't do that.

But having said that, we really enjoyed the music and other entertainment, the sit-down tea and scones venue (they were surprisingly good). Also getting to taste some of the foods that we then bought (like award winning cheese, jams and mustards).

The weather started very warm and sunny and then turned quickly cool and cloudy. But then we here know that's what happens with island weather.

One thing about Tassie food (and probably wine too, though I don't drink). You really have to go around the state to source it all out. What you find at Salamanca market in Hobart won't be what you find at St. Helens or the Huon Valley for example.
