Yes there used to be champagne/sparkling wine in F on all domestic flights. This was a popular "give away" item for the FA's back when it was common to get a bottle of wine wrapped in a napkin for various courtesies (i.e. trading seats, etc). I believe it went away in the first round of cuts shortly after 9/11. But I could be wrong about the date.
