I'm ROP Gold - but trying to get 2 award seats yesterday in C on BKK-LHR in mid-June was very hard, especially the night flight TG910. Yes, I is the upgrade bucket. I joined ANA to use the award availability tool, which followed what TG were telling me.

Anyway, managed to snag a couple on TG 916 (the day flight). Waitlisting wasn't offered to me (as ROP Gold), and I suspect that if further award seats are released, it becomes the luck of the draw. Alternate routing might need to be considered (I did, esp with cheap intra european flights).
