But if we have to get serious about it, UA no longer offers 15k mileage awards. Since things worked out such that I don't need to use their miles (my first leg yesterday didn't get upgraded), I've got to find a way to keep their accounts active. Maybe get them Safeway Club Cards and do the grocery thing... using their cards for a couple of trips to the store.
