If they agree to cancel the ticket, what happens to the e-cert? Can that be reactivated? Or issued as a travel credit? I don't feel that I should forfeit the e-cert since it's not a promotional hand out.
I'm in the same boat as the OP, except I cancelled the ticket over a week ago due to a massive schedule change and am awaiting a response any day now from CS regarding the wasted e-certificate. I'll post here when I get a response. FYI, I had purchased the ticket several months ago a few days before the e-certificate was to expire. I don't know if they'll show any sympathy.
