I suspect if they offer Wired access, there will either be a retractable ethernet cable on the desk in your hotel room or a cable will be provided separately. If you require use of the Wireless hotspot then since it is t-mobile I am sure you can access/pay whenever you will need it.

In summary, you have nothing to worry about. However it will not be free as Verizon != t-mobile.
