Pike Place Market in Seattle

Here is a place to share ideas about getting the most out of The Pike Place Market.

Obvious activities is watching the fish throwing, pictures with the ugly monk fish, and the nearby giant brass piggy bank but what about other things?

The mini donut stand nearby the fish stand is one of the originals(so many places around the country do it now) but ONLY order cinnimon/sugar or plain. The powdered and fancy are premade and not fresh!
Stop by the original Starbuck's. Nothing really special but the hordes of Japanese tourists fighting to take pictures in front it and purchase momentos inside.
For enjoying some wine in your hotel room there is a wine store on the corner of Virginia Street but for even a cheaper value there is a Cost Plus Imports two blocks north.
