As I expected, I ended up needing to change flights. I changed both the outbound and the return over the phone. The only thing that changed were the dates. The flight numbers and the record locator are the same.
I asked specifically about keeping the sponsored upgrade and the agent stated that it should be no problem. It took her a while, but she did manage to keep my sponsored upgrades. She first had to book me into coach and then re-apply the sponsored upgrades. They all cleared immediately.
She mentioned that I'd need to get a waiver signed for them. I stated that a waiver had already been signed and asked if she could see that in the record. She checked and verified that it was indeed noted as signed by my sponsor. CHecking my itineraries on line everything looks perfect ^
