Thanks for the responses. I won't worry about the meals. (That's my obsession I guess!) I like the idea of staying up the night before. We'll see. Either way, he's 13 and going to China so he should have enough energy! Four days on a guided tour of Beijing, then ten days with a host family in Shenyang.
