Also another thing is a 3am departure at DXB is actually perfect timing for a dinner for those who take a short hoilday (weekend trip) to DXB. Also the chaos at the airport during that time certainly does not make me feel it is 3am!

I just recall pre sleeper service, BA actually never served a full meal on that flight anyway. It was a Ceasar Salad or a light hot snack.

Again this is one thing CX excel in. Even on 3am-4am departure, they do offer a proper 3 course meal (even if it is to KIX from HKG!)
