So, from the ME, you don't get a proper meal on board but you get nothing in the lounge either? Seems a bit cheap if that's the case.
I think this is one annoying thing about BA is not offering the choice.

IMO they should delicate a section of the J Cabin = sleeper service. For those who want to sleep they should get assigned there. For those who want to eat then they should seated in the main deck.

However from my past experience on the sleeper flights ex DXB, it is not too abd, they do serve a nice antiPasto/salad plate with warm bread. The Terrace at DXB has some microwaveable snacks as well.
