Write Beth Shultis and perhaps even Richard Anderson and explain your situation, and ask them if you could help you by putting you on NW flights instead. Stress to them that you understand the logic behind your changes, and have no issues with it, and will certainly work with it in the future, but that you feel it's unfair to apply it to tickets already purchased. Perhaps they'll get you onto NW metal, or make an exception for the EQM.</font>
It makes no sense for NW to accept those tickets because it is almost certain that CO will not endorse the ticket. So if NW does accept the non-endorsed coupons, it's a pretty bone head move. NW transports the passenger for free, has to give out FF miles while CO still keeps the fare received with an extra seat to spare. Also, the BUMP program is designed as a standby program, not a program where NW gives away confirmed space at marginal value. Writing to upper management well in advance would be of little or no use. The EQM issue,
may be worth writing, if it's that important.
No matter how its spun, the WorldPerks program changes were negative changes. Members have already/are going to be disadvantaged. Earlier, it was folks crediting to WorldPerks full Y Delta segments; later, it will be folks crediting to WorldPerks discounted economy Continental segments.
