I've searched on this, but with not much luck... I'm a new Gold, and will be using the BA first lounge for the first time in more than a decade on my upcoming J trip to LHR. As I'm leaving from BOS, I might end up taking the sleeper service flight and was wondering if I can have my pre-flight dinner in the First lounge, or if I need to use the Terraces for pre-flight dining.

Also, in my previous experience, only the latest flight was a sleeper service on the winter schedule (it left at something after 8pm), while the earlier evening flight was not. If one is on the earlier flight, and food is served on board, does one technically have the option of eating in the pre-flight dining area if flying paid J? I ask because the last time I took the early evening (non-sleeper) flight, the attendant offered to let me dine pre-flight (something I prefer).
