I just checked-out of the Westin and found it to have a very nice modern/Balinese decor. As a platinum I was upgraded twice (two stays over the week) to executive suites (pool view/NOT the Royal Beach Club) with dining room/living room/bedroom. Also offered happy hour (6-7p) and complementary buffet breakfast. I did walk thru the Laguna next door and was told there's no Platinum lounge or meal benefit. It does seem to have a more traditional decor, but it was also $30 more with less Platinum recognition (apparently just a discount on car service, shops, etc.). Also stayed at the Bali Hyatt (Sanur), which is quite a dated property with staff training issues.
