Don't shoot me here folks, but recently I have even had experiences with even the IAD TSA being courteous, professional, and even amicable, without compromising their level of readiness.

IAD security has gotten MUCH better with the new screening area. I was worried the week after it was completed, lines were unbelievable. But now, it does not look like any lines are too much longer than the Premier lines, and the Premier lines seem very fast. And yes, the TSA agents really seem to be going out of their way to be nice. IAD is looking up. Who knows, maybe they really are finally building a train...naaa...who am I kidding.
