How much does it cost? Well, if you are willing to pay cash, NWA publishes a first class fare which I'm sure NWA.com, an NWA res agent, or your travel agent could tell you.

If you are a non-elite World Perks member, and travling within the US on a mid price to full fare ticket, you can use your miles to upgrade.

If you are an elite member flying domestic coach, you can use miles to upgrade from any fare class.

If you are an elite member you can (do what I do and) wait to see if the "EUA" computer smiles on your res and grants an automatic and complimentry upgrade to first class.

I'm a domesitc mileage slave so I'm not savvy on the upgrade rules for international travel.
