But even so there is no arrivals Lounge, the facilities in LAX and SYD have showers etc. So if you go MEL direct, you can use the lounge in LAX, if you go via Sydney you can either use the international or domestic lounge depending on what your flight number is.
In any case, you will not have access to a lounge in MEL.
